The short version

Maths4Kids doesn't collect, store or share any personal information about your child. There are no accounts, adverts, cookies, analytics or tracking. Everything your child types or chooses stays on your own device.

What is saved on your device

To remember settings between visits, the app saves the following in your browser's local storage on your device only:

This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing this website's data in your browser settings. If the app is installed, it also keeps a copy of its own files on your device so it can work offline.

Spoken voices

The talking characters use the speech voices built into your device or browser, and may say your child's name. Most voices work entirely on your device. Some browsers also offer online voices, for example Google voices in Chrome and “Natural” voices in Microsoft Edge. If one of these is used, the browser sends the words to be spoken to that company (Google or Microsoft) to turn them into speech, under that company's own privacy policy. To avoid this, choose a voice without “Google”, “Online” or “Natural” in its name under Which voice?, or turn off Monster voices.

Website hosting

Like all websites, our web host automatically records technical information when the site is visited, such as the IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used only to keep the website secure and working, is not used to identify anyone, and is deleted automatically after a short time. Our legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

The font and all other parts of the website are served from our own website, so your visit isn't shared with Google or any other company.

Children

The app is designed for children, so it is built to collect nothing about them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think we hold any information about your child, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Questions or requests about your data? Email [email protected]. You can also contact the data protection authority in your country.

Changes

If we change how the website works in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
